Until recently solar power is the only choice for home power generation.as you probably know solar power has many drawbacks the main one being that it can only produce electricity when the sun is shining. Even then they can usually only produce enough electricity to heat the hot water in your house.
Magnetic electric generators are different because once you have built one, it will create free electricity forever. Because they are powered by magnets they don't need to rely on any other energy source. Once they begin to generate electricity they will produce it continuously.
The best thing about these generators is that all the parts needed can be bought at any good DIY store. In fact the overall cost of materials should be under $100. Even the magnets are just standard household magnets and nothing special.
Thousands of people all around the world have already built their own generators and have said goodbye to expensive electricity bills. If you have basic DIY skills and the right plans, then you can build your own magnetic electric generator.
Home power generation is now a reality that many people. The best thing is that the big electricity companies can do nothing about it. Imagine how much money you'll save when you start producing your own electricity.

After all, you never majored in generators in college. What should you look for as you shop for your portable generator?
Before we get into the specifics of finding the perfect model, let's discuss what you would need with a generator first.
An electric generator is used to provide power to homes as well as to industrial and commercial establishments. They are usually used when the power goes out, either because of some natural force or a man-made disruption (a car hitting a telephone pole, for instance). In addition, sometimes a generator could be used in a place where there is no current supply of electricity. Perhaps you're fixing up a new house, for example, and it has never had the electricity turned on yet. Or you might want to power a few basic tools or appliances on a camping trips. These are just three examples of times when a person might need a back-up power source.
Selecting the best model among all of the electric generators for sale will depend on your own personal needs. For instance, will you be using the unit as an emergency power source? If so, you'll need to decide which appliances and devices must be powered in that situation. It seems likely the refrigerator would be one of these, but you might also want your TV powered, and perhaps some lights. Once you've identified what you'll need the generator to power, you need to figure out what the total wattage will be that is required to power these items. Then you'll be in a position to start shopping for your generator--and the starting point will be only those generators that can provide at least this much power.
After you've checked the wattage you need provided, make sure that the generator you're considering has an overhead valve. This will make it start much easier, and will also allow it to last longer. It also makes the generator run more quietly.
Also, you'll want an engine with a cast iron sleeve in its cylinder. This protects the engine from premature wear and tear.
There are other features that you might consider to be convenient and desirable. Some, for instance, will have an electric start or a low oil shut down which powers done the engine after the fuel reaches a certain level.
Another choice you'll have to make is what kind of fuel you want powering your generator. Many people choose gasoline as their fuel, although often this is just because it's the fuel with which they are most acquainted. However, many people have noticed that a portable propane electric generator is a better choice. Propane burns cleaner, and is therefore friendlier to the environment. It also tends to be less expensive to burn than gasoline.
Then of course, there's the matter of cost. How much can you afford? Remember that with something as important as an emergency generator, the guideline should be to buy the best one you can afford. There are lots of electric generators for sale. Following these guidelines will help ensure you make the right choice for your own unique needs.

Bad Winter Expected 2011-2012
The Farmer's Almanac has released their predictions regarding Winter for the United States 2011-2012 and their predictions are slated to make it a wet, cold and very snowy once again. You may remember last year the Farmer's Almanac predicted the western US would enjoy a fairly mild winter with extremely harsh conditions in the eastern half of the United States with the Great Lakes Region seeing a ton of snow - and it happened.
This coming winter has also been predicted to be unusually cold and stormy and this year for many parts of the United States. Here's an excerpt from their prediction: "The upcoming winter looks to be cold to very cold for the Northern Plains, parts of the Northern Rockies, and the western Great Lakes. In contrast, above-normal temperatures are expected across most of the southern and eastern U.S. Near-normal temperatures are expected in the Midwest and Far West, and in southern Florida".
This means when you get snow this year, it will most likely be of the "bring-the-tree-limbs-down-on-the-powerlines" variety and the time to have a backup plan for power is now. A portable generator will let you run portable heat, power small appliances and keep your family safe and warm.
We have many types of portable generators for sale, if you want to talk about what type of generator would be the best fit for your budget as well as your needs, call us and let's get your "Plan B" lined up now so when the storms of winter come and do the damage, you'll be prepared.
